I am a mother of 3, Kia, Ché and Zed, a fiancé to an amazing man who affords me the opportunity and freedom to explore my passion.

 I have an extended family of 4 children, 2 grandchildren and a son in law. A beautiful bunch of humans!

​

I have always had a love for crafting, a flair for interior design and a passion for abstract art. I love getting my hands dirty and being ‘hands on’ in all of my projects but until about five years ago, when my daughter, Kia, introduced me to resin, I did not know that I would find my true passion through this artistic medium.

​

I can honestly say that I have never loved working ‘with’ or ‘in’ any other artform the way that I love this one. 

 

Why? Contrary to what most people may think, because of the durability of the final product, resin is forgivable in its fluidity. Every piece is alive until it takes its last breath in the curing process and, even after that, it will let you sand and layer and add and subtract until you, the artist, is satisfied that the piece has given you everything it had to offer.

Every day in the studio, I learn something new and every day, I am excited to explore new themes and to express the colours of my life through my art and my craft.
